PNC Appoints Vicki C. Henn Chief Human Resources Officer

Banking, Finance, Press Releases

Joan L. Gulley to retire June 30

PITTSBURGH, May 6, 2014 /PRNewswire/ — The PNC Financial Services Group, Inc. (NYSE: PNC) today announced that Vicki C. Henn will succeed Joan L. Gulley as chief human resources officer. Henn’s appointment will be effective with Gulley’s retirement on June 30.

Henn currently serves as the senior human resources business partner for Retail Banking, the PNC business segment with the largest employee base.

“Vicki has been instrumental in planning and executing the talent management strategy for PNC’s ongoing retail transformation,” said William S. Demchak, chairman, president and chief executive officer of PNC. “We expect Vicki to build upon that success and to further advance the great progress Joan achieved during her tenure. For 21 years, Joan has led some of PNC’s most critical businesses and staff functions, most recently in Human Resources, where she guided the integration of more than 30,000 new employees after the National City and RBC Bank (USA) acquisitions.”

Since joining PNC in 1993, Henn has held a number of leadership positions, including deputy director of human resources for the Regional Community Bank, eastern division HR manager and staffing manager for the Distribution Segment. She also served as managing director, Community Development Banking, which provided her with business experience outside Human Resources. Before PNC, Henn was an assistant HR manager for Macy’s Northeast.

Henn holds a bachelor’s degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University and a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law.
